What Attendees Have Said

I've been at my company for nine years and had never really understood how the provident fund worked beyond "money goes in, money comes out eventually." The workshop went through the framework slowly enough that I could ask questions. The diagram they handed out is still on my desk three months later.

We ordered the HR Onboarding Kit for our team after a particularly confusing handover when our last pension administrator left. It didn't answer every specific question we had, and we still had to follow up with our fund manager for a couple of things — but it gave us a much cleaner baseline than we'd had before. The checklist format works well.

As someone who moved to Thailand for work, I found the Social Security system quite difficult to follow from the official sources, which are understandably in Thai first. The Pensava workshop gave me an English-language walkthrough that made sense. I finally understood what was being deducted from my salary and why. Very practical.

I attended the Pre-Retirement session two years before I actually retired. At the time I thought I might be attending too early, but looking back it gave me a year and a half to have proper conversations with my employer and financial planner. The planning worksheet was particularly useful for structuring those conversations.

The Pension System Information Workshop was the starting point I needed before taking on pension responsibilities at my company. The facilitator was clear that it was general information only — they were careful about that — but that's exactly what I needed. I knew enough to ask the right questions when I spoke with our fund administrator afterwards.

We've used the HR kit for two separate teams now and it's solved a specific problem we had with inconsistent documentation. Worth emphasising that it's a reference, not a substitute for professional advice — but for getting a new HR person up to speed on what the standard steps look like, it does exactly what it says.

Case Study · Ubon Ratchathani Manufacturer

Standardising Pension Onboarding for a 3-Person HR Team

Challenge

A manufacturing company in Ubon Ratchathani was onboarding a new HR coordinator. The outgoing administrator had handled pension processes for four years but there was no written record of what steps she followed. The incoming coordinator was nervous about making errors and the company had no documentation to give her.

Approach

The company ordered the HR Onboarding Reference Kit. Both the outgoing and incoming coordinators reviewed the kit together, using it as a framework to identify which steps the company's existing processes aligned with and where there were gaps worth noting. The kit arrived within the specified five working days.

Outcome

The incoming coordinator had a written reference to work from during her first three months. The company's HR director noted fewer follow-up questions about standard procedures compared with previous onboardings. The kit has since been updated internally and passed to a third coordinator who joined six months later.

"It gave us a starting document instead of starting from nothing." — HR Director

Case Study · International School Staff Group

Pre-Retirement Workshop for a Group of Long-Term Education Staff

Challenge

Seven staff members at a school in northeast Thailand were within five years of their expected retirement. Several were expats with limited understanding of Thai retirement frameworks. The school wanted to offer something practical but was clear it wasn't in a position to give individual financial advice.

Approach

The school booked a group Pre-Retirement Planning Session for seven participants. The session covered general budgeting habit discussions, timeline considerations and a worksheet exercise. Participants were a mix of Thai nationals and expats, and the group format allowed for shared questions that benefited multiple attendees.

Outcome

Participants reported feeling more prepared to have structured conversations with their financial planners and the school's HR department. Two participants had follow-up meetings with licensed advisers within eight weeks of the session. The school has since booked a second cohort for a newer group of staff.

"I finally knew what questions to ask at my next appointment." — Participant
